Join Our Team

The Beverly City Fire District offers the opportunity for the rewarding and challenging position of volunteer firefighter and fire police for those who wish to make a difference in our community.

All necessary training and equipment are provided at no cost to the members.

There are several opportunities to choose from:

Firefighter:
For adults 18 and over who wish to be involved in all aspects of firefighting.

Fire Police Officer:
As a Fire Police Officer you will assist in traffic management, crowd control, and general assistance at emergency scenes and non-emergency events.

Junior Firefighter Program:
This program is designed for young adults ages 16 to 18. Under supervision, you will receive training and develop the skills necessary to advance to full firefighter duty at the age of 18.

Support Personnel:
You do not have to respond to emergencies to be a part of our team. This category is for those individuals who assist with running the business of busy fire stations. These duties include administrative functions, computer support, building maintenance, and more.

Basic Requirements:

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Citizen of the United States
  • Completion of a Membership Application
  • Successful Criminal Background Check
  • Pass a Medical Physical
